Welcome to Hotspot RP, a laid-back serious roleplay community built on respect, creativity, and immersive storytelling. Follow the steps carefully to gain access. Failure to complete any step may result in delays or denial of access.

Step 1: Own a Legal Copy of GTA V

You must own a legitimate, legal copy of Grand Theft Auto V on PC through:

  • Steam
  • Epic Games
  • Rockstar Launcher

đźš« Cracked or pirated copies are strictly forbidden and will result in instant denial.

Step 2: Install FiveM

  1. Go to https://fivem.net
  2. Download the FiveM client.
  3. Install and run it once to detect your GTA V installation.
  4. Ensure GTA V runs properly before continuing.

Step 3: Complete the Whitelist Application

Before joining the city, submit a whitelist application so our staff can verify that you understand the rules and are ready for laid-back serious RP.

  1. Fill out the application completely and honestly.
  2. Provide thoughtful answers to all RP questions — lazy answers may result in denial.
  3. Submit your application through our Whitelist Form.

⏰ Applications are usually reviewed within 24–48 hours. You’ll get a Discord DM or tag when accepted or if revisions are needed.

Step 4: Update Your Discord Nickname

Change your nickname in the server to follow this format:
{Department} J. Cook

If you don’t have a department, use CIV in the department spot.

Step 5: Wait for Approval

  • You’ll receive a Whitelist Role in Discord.
  • Your Discord ID / Steam ID will be added to the whitelist database.
  • You’ll get access to the server IP and connection instructions.

Step 6: Join the Server

  1. Launch FiveM.
  2. Press F8 or use the in-game server list.
  3. Type in the provided IP or find Hotspot RP in the browser.
  4. Join the city and start your story!

⚠️ Make sure your Rockstar account is running before launching FiveM.

  • All players must follow server rules at all times.
  • Character realism is expected — no trolling or fail RP.
  • Need help? Open a Support Ticket in Discord.
  • Using unauthorized game copies will result in permanent removal.
